I think the maiden flight on the YF-100K is scheduled for later this year as the first stage engines on Long March 12 from Wenchang. Wikipedia claims a launch date of August 28th but has no sources. The regular YF-100 is used not only on the boosters on the Long March-5/5B but also serves as the first stage and booster engines on the Long March-7/7A/8 and the first stage engines of the Long March-6A/6C. A slightly lower performance variant with roll control thrusters fed by the pre-burner is used on the first stage on the Long March 6.
This game is wonderful.

If I remember right, it’s planets 3-6 in the habitable zone of TRAPPIST-1. And also, I believe it’s been determined that 4 is the most likely to be habitable, which is why it would be the one with the ksc on it.
Yeah - in this case the goal was to keep the Kerbin system as consistent as possible, which is why I preferred the third planet.
Real systems have no obligation to make good game design. You might want to look at whirligig world for a homeworld swap thats completely different. You can start on the earth like moon if you dont like the more extreme start. However i found trying to rescale it results in a lot of glitches, at least with sigma dimensions
Well, I might still try the Trappist-1 system myself for my curiosity - I'm looking something approachable for other people, though. For that, Real Solar System seems actually easier than Trappist-1 in many ways - and also more engaging in its variations. So it's not that real systems don't make good game design - it's that RSS itself is sort of better than Trappist-1.
Are you trying to get viewer engagement by completely misrepresenting the circumference of earth in comparison to these planets? Is approximately 40,000 KM in circumference
How did he "completely misrepresent the circumference of earth"? He mentions the radius of the planets, not the circumference.
The premise: you arrive in the Trappist system via a generation ship and launch from the mothership (think extraplanetary launchpads) and have to setup up bases around the seven planets in order to visit their surfaces using elegant ships. It would mix up the traditional campaign.
I'll think about that. I was looking to make something other people could play around with, though, so setting up that start would be sort of tricky.
I don't know much about it beyond being inspired by Trappist-1, but Galaxies Unbound Tarsis-1 might be worth looking into if you want a Trappist-like system

It would take a very dicey suicide burn. The engines throttle to 65%, but that still leaves the landing TWR very high.

The country choices are based on the backers that we had at the time. More will be added over time. If you are bothered by the concave side of the flaps facing the flux, you could change there animation. For instance, make the flap slide towards the top (pointy end) of the lander. Once the bottom part of the flap reaches the hinge, then it opens. Or something based on this, it's hard to describe with words but it's a simple mechanism. No idea how to animate this in the though. Also I don't mind having the concave side facing the airflow. As you said, Mars will not heat the parts that much.
I very much love these experiments you do in ksp. Would it be somewhat possible to do a falcon 9 with raptors in ksp or is the propellant to big of a change to be feasible?

nicee although i think the single core version flying like a falcon 9 will be named different if it’s reused LM10 will be tri core core and fully expendable, and the engines are def more optimised for that since the centre core would like to be more vacuum optimised
That's almost what Space Pioneer's TL-3 is for, not exactly the same design but overall is just a smaller Chinese Falcon.

@@RaizSpace There has been alot of things updated in the devbuild compared to the demo. L,T and Yclass stars (cooler and smaller then M class), alot to do with how planets are generated, more stats of planets (mass, gravity, radious, atmospheric composition etc), black hole systems can have planets, the ship isn't round anymore (looks more like a flat USS Voyager with a Vulcan warp-ring now) etc
Ship view is only accessible when sitting at the helm.

CO2 is heavier than air, so it falls to lower rooms, you can use that in game.
Place CO2 generating machinery in the lowest rooms.
You need to put pumps on the bottom of a tank, if you don't do this, they will pump out water from their tile and all tiles above and then stop working.

Yes, I've built many scale models, including of the Shuttle, but that was when I was young. I don't have them any more because of space - just an SR-71 and a Lego Saturn V.

Lovely to see part 2. Let me give add a couple more tips, apart form phoenix's tips. If you press P, you will find a lot of numbers that kinds of tell you what priority are the things on. From 1 to 9, you can sort "work task" and some other thins in a priority systems. That way, you can make sure dupes refill the carbon powerplant, before they go harvest. Its just an exaple, but you get the point. I think it will also help if i talk about the priority system on the top right of the screen. Its similar to this system i talk to you about with the "P" button, but its related to every single duplicant. So you might want to give priority to one of your researchers to do it so over some other task, as they will usually do it faster because of those extra points they have on that "skill". The skill points tree also unlock the use of some buildings, but there are basic buildings, like the first research table, that they do not need any skillpoints to be operated. Yet you might want not to put your diggers to research if they had digging jobs to be done. And the last one. Every time you select a building, a material, etc... there is a "box" that apears on your right side of the screen. On the top of this box, there is a small "book". That will take you to the "build-in wiki" where you can check on building requirements, rates of consumtion, and so on... Just dont get overwellmed. ITs a lot of info. You dont need it now to start messing up with things. Just be aware there is a lot of info at your disposal, if you ever require it. I hope i explain myself clear enought. English is not my mothertonge lenguaje. I dont want to talk you too much about how the game works, as i think that's part of the enjoyment of the game. Waiting for the 3rd part, if you're willing to keep playing. Thanks for the videos
Polluted water is urine. If your dups can't reach a toilet in time, they let themselves go and create polluted water that you should mop up. Or you can leave it and enjoy the increased sickness
White is IN green is OUT(there's a mop command at the bottom left and bottle emptier to move liquids to desired location)
Use tiles and doors to build specialised rooms(toilets etc.) it raises morale. Use room overlay menu to find out requirements an bonuses for rooms. Sink use direction can be changed if you click on it an use same menu you now use to deconstruct.
i have a problem. I can't edit the Flow Priority like in 15:00 . it doesn't show up at the bottom of the window.
In the settings when in the space center screen, you need to enable Advanced Tweakables.
